We’re a small group of volunteers working to protect, preserve, enhance and promote the history and heritage of the Waipori district, for the educational and recreational benefit of the public.
We aim to:
- foster an interest in the history and heritage of the Waipori district
- protect, preserve and display heritage sites, structures and artefacts associated with the Waipori district
- carry out or encourage study, publication and education that increases knowledge and awareness of the Waipori district’s history and heritage.
We have established the Waipori Goldfields Charitable Trust as the formal entity for our work. Find out more about the trust here.
