Maps

Maps do more than show directions; they tell stories about places.  By tracing hills, rivers, roads and settlements, maps reveal how landscapes formed and how people shaped them over time.  Old and modern maps together uncover changing environments, migration patterns and community development, helping us understand the history and character of an area.

This section of our website contains a range of old and recent maps.  If you have others that you’d like to add to our collection, please contact us.
